True Woman '12 Prison Prayer Chain

Topics: True Woman Conferences

Don’t miss it! Through tomorrow, May 1, you can still save $20 on your True Woman ’12 tickets!

Are you attending the True Woman ’12 Conference in Indianapolis this September? If so, you are being prayed for daily by 150 women from the PAL, GALS, and APAL barracks in the McPherson Unit (a prison for women in Newport, Arkansas) and the Hawkins unit (a prison outside of Little Rock, AR).

Each day, these sisters in Christ come together corporately to pray for the conference. They then write out their personal prayers for you and place them on an ever-growing prayer chain. By August 31, these women will have written out approximately 36,000 prayers! Here are just a few of them:

Father God, please allow the hearts of the husbands to be open to their wives attending the TW12 conference. I pray that the wives would take home the right attitudes from Your Word.

May the Lord bless the women with richness and beauty within.

Protect everyone involved who’s traveling, and restore their finances.

Lord, bless the women to the "whole message" presented to them at this conference.

May you be filled with the Lord's Holy Spirit and receive the gift of salvation.

Lord, I pray that You will provide for assistance with the needs of childcare for the women so that their focus can be fully on You and Your Word.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please allow each woman attending the conference to be fully alert and attentive in each session so that they may learn and hear everything they need to become the mothers, wives, daughters, aunts, friends, and sisters that You are molding them to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Humbling, huh? We are loved by sisters we’ve never even met!

When Stacey Smith told our team about these women, she said, “I can't even imagine what all God is going to do at TW12. The prayer warriors on the inside are active and ready to hear what all God is going to do . . .”

Come to True Woman ’12 and see the prayer chain for yourself!

  6. What a powerful picture of the Body of Christ, in whom cultural distinctions become celebration of God's creativity, and through whom all are free to embrace the most glorious, unshakably worthwhile cause. I am invigorated by these precious sisters! God will move through their union with His heart! Thank you!

  7. The ladies in prison are praying 'by first name' each woman that has register. Your name Is being written on a prayer chain personally and if you purchased more tickets for others then it is written that many times in honor of your group.

  8. Thank you ladies for praying. My name is Rhonda Schueren and I would like for you to pray for my children and myself as we learn this "new game plan" that GOD has called us to. My husband was a pastor and took his life last October, leaving me with our 4 children...ages 22-9 all still at home. This has been also very tough on our church family. (The Grace Comm. Church @ Bigelow) I can't wait to attend the TW 12 with several other gals from our church. We covet your prayers. I thank you for learning the fine art of ministering to others and praying for others. It is a tool that you will always need and I am grateful for your loving us through this ministry. May we learn from your example and may our gracious and loving GOD bless each of you as we are apart of the great family of GOD. Thank you sisters! In Christ Alone,

  9. With tears in my eyes, I read this post. Dear sisters...we are humbled by your concern and love that you have for us and our Lord. May the time you spend in prayer for us and others....bring you ever closer to your Heavenly Father that you may know His abundant grace, peace and joy in your lives; despite your circumstances.

When you are "in Christ" you possess a wonderful freedom and joy that many on the outside do not possess. In the most important aspect of our lives (spiritual) many are held captive and in bonds. May we be prayerful for all those who do not yet know their Lord.

Praying that you all have a meaningful and blessed day in Him!

"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all." Phil 4:23

"This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" Psalm 118:24

Thank you and God bless you each one!!!
