My OneCry: More Than a Wish

Birthday candles. Turkey wishbones. Shooting stars. Fountain coins.

Perfect times and places to make a wish. Or so we’re told.

Speaking of wishes, Life Action has just launched the “My OneCry” project. Think of it as a giant wish list. Except . . . better. More than a wistful wish, it’s the longing of your heart directed to the God who hears and answers the cries of His people. It’s where you draw a circle around yourself and your family and say, "God, send revival, and let it begin in me."

Here’s my OneCry. I’d love to hear yours. You can film a short video and add it to all the others (here’s how). Or, if you’re camera shy, leave your OneCry below as a comment.

Let’s shower heaven with our wishes today. Our heavenly Father delights to grant His children the OneCry of their hearts!

  1. The longing and one cry from my heart is for God to restore the hearts of so many of my family members who have turned their back on God and are walking away. For my Dad, Brothers, Sister, Nieces and Nephews and Aunt to be brought to the end of themself, to turn and repent. Oh, God, whatever it takes...have mercy.

  2. My heart's cry is for my young adult children to realize that all choices have consequences. They have many blind spots that can only be exposed by the inner working of the Holy Spirit. May each one turn to God in prayer and repentance and seek His will for their lives.

  3. My heart's cry is for my children and husband to love and serve God with all of their heart, souls, and minds, returning to their first love. May revival begin with me! Heal and mold our home for your glory, O God!

  5. My daily prayer is for my husband, daughters, myself and our friends and family who know God, to love God, His Word and righteousness above the things of this world and our own desires. And to hate sin. I also pray daily for the salvation of friends and family who don't know God, and for His protection over their lives and choices until they are His.

  8. my cry is to allow the Holy Spirit to take control of me and help me to daily die to self..praying for people to know Jesus Christ..especially those who say their christians and use Gods name in vain omg etc i shudder when i hear that because it grieves the Holy Spirit and we are told not to do this
only by surrendering daily to Him and dying to self can that be overcome..so thankful to know my Jesus is Lord and He is coming back to take me Home! Glory!

  9. My one cry is for millions to come to know Christ. I long to share Him with any that He brings my way and opens the opportunity!
It is so fun to watch Him work and see hearts listen, even on this campaign trail that my husband and I are on for U.S. Senate in Michigan. Our goal is to love people and speak truth, sharing that we need wise political leadership, but truly a spiritual awakening
through prayer and obedience! We must join together to promote healing for Americal! This is my one cry! May Jesus be
    lifted up and win!

  10. So, I'm a little late to this post (and camera shy!), but my one cry is for an interior Brazilian Indian tribe where I've done short-term mission work the past two summers. They are lost and live in fear and darkness. I want each man, woman, and child to know the light and life of Jesus in a personal saving relationship. Jesus, I pray for revival! Please draw these people, made in Your image, to Yourself. Father, I pray for the salvation of their souls, so that they may know unconditional love and perfect peace, and will no longer be under the bondage of sin and death. Amen.

  12. My one cry is for God's creatures to truly know Him as Creator of the universe who instituted laws to govern his creation. As Creator, we can rely upon Him to sustain and direct both our lives and the universe toward good. I am launching a Christian Record Label to spread the knowledge of God through song. Please view my video at: http://startgarden.com/ideas/detail/modern-prophecy-records. If you like our work, please vote for us. Voting facilitates the process of us receiving funding from a philanthropic organization.
