Bringing TW12 to You: LIVE Video Stream Announcement

TW12 LiveI love it when I get to be the bearer of good news. Here it is:

If a lack of funds or too many miles or the delivery of a baby or anything else has kept you from traveling to the True Woman ’12 Conference, we understand.

So we want to bring the conference to you.

Join over 8,000 attendees September 20–22 via a LIVE webstream. In addition to the English stream, we’re especially excited to offer a Spanish LIVE stream for the first time ever!

While it’s not the same as being there, we’ll work hard to make you feel like you’re a part of it all. You’ll be able to interact with others on the True Woman blog, Facebook.com/TrueWomanMovement, and Twitter.com/TrueWoman (#TW12 is our hashtag). Plus, I have the privilege of “hosting” the LIVE video stream (the one in English, that is!), so I’ll be interacting with you each day.

Will you stop right now and ask God who you could share this cool opportunity with? Spread the word—we’re planning on seeking God earnestly for ourselves, our homes, our churches, our nation, and the world. We expect to meet God in profound ways, and we want you and your friends to as well.

  7. Will you be posting the schedule so we can plan our schedules accordingly?
    My daughter's mother in law is wheelchair bound and finds SO much inspiration from Joni...she is now in rehab at a nursing home after breaking a leg...and very discouraged. Think this will be a wonderful means to encourage her if she can watch Joni presentation on the WiFi at the nursing home...Thank you...thank you!!

    I was in Indy in 2010 but have a 7-month-old now and traveling there to the conference with how busy he is wasn't feasible! WHAT A BLESSING!! Sooo cool! I think I may try and get a babysitter on Saturday for my big boys so that I can focus all day on the True Woman conference!!! Thank you so much!!

  18. I cannot even begin to thank you enough for this opportunity. Tears are streaming as I thank my oh-so-good God. I so desired to come this year and have been planning for two years but finances are just too tight. My husband felt badly at not being able to send my teen daughter and I. I can't wait to tell him what God has arranged! :-). Nancy and Danah have made such an impact in our house - we often talk about them like we really know them. ;-). I can honestly say that there is no other earthly resource that has brought me to a closer relationship with my Savior than the person of Nancy Leigh. I'm so grateful for your influence on my walk, my marriage, my relationship with my girls, my friendships, everything!! Thank you from the tips of my toes!!!!

  19. This is wonderful news!!! íBuenas noticias! I have so many friends and acquaintances who I wish could attend in person, but can't or who don't realize what a tremendous event this is. I will be praying that they will either join me after I return from the conference in viewing the sessions or @ minimum, they would watch on their own. I have been viewing on lunch breaks the Dominican Republic conference sessions w/ a couple of Spanish-speaking friends @ work & am so looking forward to adding these sessions to our repertoire. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! And may He continue to provide for and direct all the precious folk involved with ROH & the TW conferences.

    Will this be available to view other than during the live times. I am a pasto'rs wife of a med size church and would love toffer a day for the women to come. However, having done this in the past and knowing the women now, (been here 1y 1/2), it will be hard to get them to commit for more than 1 day. I was intending to use the study truewomenbydesign with my class later in 2013. I have been getting a core group together and equipping them. I am sure many of them would love to see this also. I guess my question is will this be on video online to watch when all are available to gather?

  29. YES! I second Joanne's question about scheduling!!! I would love it if the women @ my fellowship could veiw it on my huge projection screen!!!!!! Then maybe FINALLLY some of them would actually attend with me next time! I'm going but I would LOVE for them to see WHY I keep harping on and on about these things. Since this will be my fourth time going alone....

    I'm going to dream big! And hope y'all are going to post scheduling so....aaaagh I'm babbling because this is just wonderful news!!!!

  32. Yes, please post the needed link. Our church sound person has agreed to help connect it at church where I know several ladies are interested. I only need to forward the needed link to him. The scheduling would be helpful since many could not see the whole thing, but would like to see at least a portion.

  36. I'm attending alone this year (went with my women's groups in '08 and '10). While I am excited about what God will do through this experience for me, I am also thrilled that you are live streaming this because I have invited my friends to attend "virtually" with me! I have decided to blog from the conference and discuss the sessions with my friends who have joined via online streaming! So excited for this. I have friends and family all over the country, so in a way, we will be able to do this together, anyway! Looking forward to see who all joins me in this way! Can't wait!!

Heh heh, I didn't want to seem like I was bragging with the projection screen comment, only wanted those women who have one to get a light bulb moment and maybe try the same thing. :)

    Some folk have them for their husbands to watch action movies, sports or nature programs on and forget they even have them because they aren't the sitting down for a long time types. ;)

  43. A handful of ladies from FBCN in Naples, Florida are planning on meeting in a home and experiencing the conference LIVE via streaming. We are SOOO THRILLED for this opportunity!! Praise the LORD!

  45. This is such great news! I had planned to go, but am still nursing my infant & in the end just didn't feel like I could be away from her that long... I'm so glad to hear this news!!
    I checked out the schedule & am just wondering how we can know who is speaking when? Also, will you be streaming the Teen Track sessions with Dannah Gresh?

    Nope, we won't be streaming the Teen Track, as it's taking place at the same time as the regular sessions on Friday.

    The specific song you are referring to is "A Mother's Prayer". Paula let me in on a cool secret….Kristyn Getty will be blogging next week about this song and she will include the lyrics to it!

    Our leadership is hesitant to publish a song list from the conference as some changes were made during the conference and we aren’t sure we have a correct record of what songs were sung. You can find their songs and lyrics at www.gettymusic.com.
