It’s that time! Many of you are pulling out your suitcase and packing it full to come to True Woman ’12. If you’re like me, you’ve been agonizing for days (okay, maybe even weeks) over what you’ll wear. But have you considered what “attitude” or “spirit” you’ll be packing, and which one you’ll be leaving behind? I asked the Revive Our Hearts team this question, and here’s what they had to say:
Mike Neises

I'm bringing along a spirit of holy anticipation. I want God to further shape and mold me, to convict me where I need to be convicted, and to comfort and uphold me through the difficult season of life I'm in right now. I know that when we (corporately at the event or individually online) offer a sacrifice of praise, pour out every facet of our lives before Him, and pray for revival, He is faithful and true to His daughters. Revive our Hears, Lord! Revive my heart, Lord!
I'm leaving behind fearful and anxious feelings toward the circumstances of my life. Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. I trust Jesus.

TW responsibility: whatever God leads me to ;) [I'm not staff but love so many of you!! It's dear to my heart to see your names and pray for your individual concerns!]
Leaving Behind (with the Lord's help): a clinging sadness that's produced a self focus I'm exhausted by. Fears of not growing to be more like my Savior.
Taking with me: Joyful expectation, prayers for eyes that see and ears that hear the still small voice of the dear Holy Spirit for all my Sisters, each and every last one there. His love, his peace, His direction (please Father lead us all). May He be greatly glorified!!
Peace, love n' blessings,

Also want to just encourage Carrie Gaul, and Karen Watts. God especially laid you on my heart as I read this and I am praying that God would just protect your hearts and minds as you coordinate and lead in the area of prayer for the weekend. Stand firm. Stay focused on Him. Thank you for being willing to serve.

Hopefully I am leaving behind preconceived ideas that may not be in line with scripture; wrong attitudes and lack of zeal for my God...
And bringing with me (as i watch the live-stream, or parts) an open heart and mind to what the Lord wants to do in my heart through this conference; a heart of thankfulness for all he has done; prayers for those ministering and in attendance; fresh zeal and joy in Dhrist.
Lova again to you all1
