What an amazing time we had at True Woman ’12! In the closing session, Nancy Leigh DeMoss posed the question, “Where do we go from here? How can we continue to seek Him together for spiritual renewal?” She suggested three steps:

1. Take the Seeking Him Together Prayer Challenge: Join True Woman speakers in prayer for revival and awakening through the month of October. When you sign up at TrueWoman.com/Challenge, you’ll get a daily audio link to remind you to seek Him for spiritual awakening in your life. We’ll also post the prayers right here on the blog.

2.  Get the Daily Connection: Like an IV in your arm, get a daily boost to help you keep focused and growing in your faith. Sign up at ReviveOurHearts.com/Email to get key quotes from each day’s Revive Our Hearts program along with “quick clicks” to the audio, transcripts, and other resources.

3.  Host a True Woman Event: Share the True Woman experience with your friends. With the True Woman Event Kit you can customize messages from True Woman conferences and host your own True Woman event! Download your kit today at TrueWomanEventKit.com. (We hope to add True Woman ’12 messages to the kit by the end of October.)

Remember the circle? The first place for revival to start is with me and with you. What did the Lord convict you of this weekend? If there’s something you need to deal with—a habit you need to change, a sin you need to forsake, a person you need to forgive or ask forgiveness of—don’t delay. Now is the time. Step in that circle, and watch what God will do!

  1. I was able to listen to some, but not all of the event. I do not know about the circle....when I click on the blue highligts in this email it takes me to 3 different ads.....
I attended the first True Woman conference and was blessed. I really appreciate the live feed for this one. I'm just sorry that I couldn't spend the entire weekend with the computer!
    What is the circle about?

  2. The True Woman conference was so wonderful and amazing! Hearing the different speakers changed my life in many ways, however the most important challenge I came away with was to "seek Him" with a thirst like never before. A true highlight from the weekend was personally meeting Joni Earekson Tada, and having her sign my Bible and having my picture taken with her. Thank you, Nancy, and all the wonderful people who work so hard to make this conference available to us, and for your love for the Lord. I can truly say that I am having revival in MY heart!

  3. The Lord convicted me of being slothful in zeal and not persevering in prayer (Romans 12:11-12)--specifically for salvation for others and for revival. I was also convicted several times about living my life in my own strength and wisdom, not expecting Jesus to live through me in a supernatural way. YET, in His grace, He reminded me over and over that He loves me and that He is still calling me to seek Him. He doesn't give up on me!

  4. Hi J Adams. The circle represents the call of our heart for God to send revival to our homes, our churches, and our community and to start His work of revival in the circle—where we are. There are some videos at this link which will help explain it further. http://www.onecry.com/resources/videos/

  5. I was with the large group of women from IL that took two charter buses to get to Indy for True Women 2012. There are so many things God did on this trip for me and for the other women in our group but this was my first one and I really enjoyed being part of 8300 women who were seeking God's face, looking around, I felt so beautiful as a woman, as a woman of Faith in Jesus, a Believer, one of His Beloved with all my sisters in the Lord standing for Biblical truth. The Lord helped me during Joni's talk to stop rebelling against God in the area of Forgivness of my ex husband and father of my children who was clergy until our divorce, but to embrace him and his new wife as people to pray for, and people to truely forgive!!! GOd led me on the way home to pray for their marriage so my kids dont have to see another divorce, to release them from the court of my head to God's court and remember that accepting forgiveness from Christ requires, requires, that I forgive those who have hurt me and hurt my babies by their action. Thankyou so much, I really do feel more free, and it will not be easy but I can do this for and through Jesus because of ALL he has and will do for me in my walk over 20 years with HIM:) Praise God and me Bless this movement and the next conference:)

  6. I heard Mary K. on Friday morning on the webstream while sitting in my home at the computer. What a powerful message! I am eagerly waiting for it to be available so I can pass it around to my Christian sisters here on the Seacoast of NH. Who knows what God will do with God's words (as Mary spoke them) in the hearts of the Christian women here. I eagerly await the Lord's leading for us here in this area.

  7. I too was confronted with the Truth at TrueWoman'12 - about forgiveness and revival in my life and family and church and nation. I was reviewing some of the Scripture passages presented, and kept on reading in 1 Chronicles 16 (what a beautiful chapter!) and the last verse was just for me as I headed back to home after a mountaintop experience: "Then all the people left, each for his own home, and David returned home to bless his family." I am to return home and bless my family, and those that are within my circle of influence! Thank you for providing this place and time for us to seek Him more fully.

  8. I just want to thank everyone from the True Woman's Conference. I loved every minute of it! I am Joy McClain's daughter (the woman who prayed for her husband for 22 years), and being reminded of what God did in our family was such a blessing! My mom, sister and I were watching the video with tears streaming down our faces- God is faithful and God will provide every need! The conference has since reminded me of who God really is.. a just, loving and trustworthy God! All the glory goes to God!

  9. J. Adams,

Here's how Nancy Leigh DeMoss tells of the story behind the circle:

There was an old time revivalist whose name was Gypsy Smith. Perhaps you've heard of him. The story is told that Gypsy Smith would go to a town to preach—he was an itinerant preacher—and he would come to the town where he had been invited and he would come to the outskirts of the town. And he would stand and draw a circle in the ground, in the dirt on the outskirts of town. And then he would step inside that circle and he would begin to pray for God to move in that town. He would say, “Lord, please send revival to this community. But, oh God, let the revival start inside this circle. Let it begin in me.”

May God start a revival in this nation! But may it begin first of all in me!
