Kissing Traditionalism Good-bye

If you enjoy this video, catch my conversation with Nancy Leigh DeMoss, “Embracing God’s Divine Design,” today on Revive Our Hearts as we dispel more traditional stereotypes.

At the Gospel Coalition Women’s Conference this past summer, Jennie Allen interviewed Nancy Leigh DeMoss and me about women in ministry, how we grapple with traditionalism, exercising our gifts, and ministering in a complementarian context.

The answers aren’t simplistic. Scripture doesn’t give us easy checklists . . .  so we need to hold to the authority of the Word of God, rely on the counsel of the Holy Spirit, and “grapple on” with how to best display God’s created order in this day and age in our respective churches and lives.

  1. Thank you for sharing, Nancy and Mary! Your explanations of what complementarianism look like were very good!
