I know I work for Revive Our Hearts—so dismiss this if you’d like—but speaking as a woman (and not an employee), I’d rather go to a True Woman Conference over another women’s conference any day.

I hope that doesn’t sound terribly arrogant. It’s not that I have anything against other women’s conferences. It’s just that year after year, I’ve watched our leadership team pour themselves into prayer over these conferences. I’ve seen them work hard to create a “sacred space” for women like you and me to meet with the Lord. And I’ve been able to participate in meaningful moments like the one you’re about to watch.

True Woman ’12 was no exception. Thanks to our video team, quite possibly the most moving moment from the entire conference was captured. Take a look.

Whether you’ve made it to one or some or none of our conferences in the past, I really hope you can come to Revive ’13 and/or True Woman ’14.

If you’re a women’s ministry leader, pastor’s wife, Bible study teacher, small group leader, or biblical counselor, you can now register for Women Helping Women, the Revive ’13 Conference taking place this September.

And . . . we hope to open registration for True Woman ’14 by the end of March. Stay tuned!

While specific conference details are still in the works, one thing I can guarantee—you will be prayed over and poured into at both of these events.

  1. As an attendee of True Woman 2012, I have to say this WAS one of the most moving moments of the conference. Thank you women of McPherson for praying for us so faithfully. We were blessed by you! We loved seeing you and praise the Lord for all He is doing in your lives!

  2. Thanks be to God for His great mercy and grace. Shared that message last night with a young woman...praise to Him who has set me free! My tears of love, thankfulness and praise flowed again and encouraged me to proclaim at every opportunity the message of the cross.

  3. Thank you for capturing this moment on video. I was privledged to be able to attend True Woman '12 and the prayer chain is something I will never forget. Watching it again on this video just brings me to tears. Such proof of the truth in God's Word, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." Amen!

  4. Absolutely a taste of heaven! God bless the women of McPherson--it was a very emotional moment witnessing the prayerchain and also finding a link in my bag with a name written on it. There is such power in prayer.

  5. This really touched me! Such an overwhelming love! After this experience, I decided to borrow the idea for the young girls that I mentor. Later in the year, following True Woman Conference, I (with the help of some friends) was planning on taking a group of young girls to the SecretKeeper Girl Conference sponsored by Danah Gresh. As we neared the time to go to that conference and preparing for that, The Lord impressed upon my heart to borrow this idea from you. I took "MY" chain link from True Woman and showed it to and talked to the ladies in my church about what you all had done with the "paper chain". I then challenged our older ladies to do the same for our younger ladies and those of us who were preparing to shepherd them on this trip to Secret Keeper Girl conference. Make their paper chain loop, write their own prayer on it for a named young lady who was attending with us and then to pray over it all week. Then come Saturday, we all met at the church and I asked those ladies who had created a link of the prayer chain to bring it to the church that morning as we prepared to leave for our conference. We then all formed a circle around those precious little girls as each lady read their heart felt prayer over each of these precious souls! What a sight! I never knew what God was going to do with this. Those precious young ladies then inside of our circle of ladies, followed the circle around as a group, inside of that circle to each adult lady who had written, prayed and was now reading over them as the Lord had impressed upon their hearts! Thank you for the idea, it reached further than I could've imagined! He is so precious! We also had one of the young ladies come to know the Lord with saving grace that very evening at the conference.
