Where Is God in All of This?

As you size up your life circumstances, do you wonder how God could possibly be in them?

In this three-minute clip, Carolyn McCulley reminds us—especially single women—that the story has not been finished yet.

If you enjoyed this short conversation and are interested in hearing what’s at the root of male-female conflict, join Carolyn, Nancy, Mary, Karen, and Erin on Revive Our Hearts today and tomorrow as they continue this conversation, "Snake in My Garden."

There’s a bigger storyline than what you see . . .

  2. Needed this. God is allowing great physical pain in my life, and it becomes an honor (though still hard) to bear when I see myself as standing before His throne as a vessel of praise offered to Him. May Satan not have the victory - because my Jesus is so good to me, and His plans are so much bigger than mine.

  3. I started reading Job on the 1st day of this year. I finished the last chapter this morning. I needed to read this as I have been going thru some trials - the worst trial was losing my only child last year. It has been a hard journey, but I know Bran would want me to keep living and I am helping others in her honor and I want God to get the Glory for everything that is done. Job got all things returned to him 2 fold. I know God will restore me in His time and in His way and that He has a plan for me.
I will start reading Psalms now as I know that book can be soothing.

  4. @Missy...Bless you as you endure this physical suffering. What a beautiful picture of a vessel of honor before Him. I have paused to pray for you this morning.

  5. Oh, Cindy...our hearts go out to you in the loss of your only child. You have done a good thing to go to His Word and find your comfort and your peace and your strength there! God led you to just the Book to find that--Job. Bless you for your perseverance. He does indeed have a plan for your life. How lovely that you are helping others in Bran's honor--all to the glory of God. You my friend, are a picture of Romans 5:2-5. All glory be to God.

May the Psalms be to you a healing balm to your soul. Thank you for your post.
